Members aged 14 years to 17 years as at 30th September each year. Includes access to gym – rules may apply with respect to supervision.
A member who holds a Bronze Medallion and completes full patrol and club duties. They must complete an Annual Proficiency Test unless they obtained their Bronze Medallion during the season. Includes access to the gym.*
The membership fee for Probationary Bronze is $200, which covers the cost of Bronze Medallion training, uniform and patrol fees for the season. Including gym access.*
Members who have completed 10 years satisfactory service since obtaining their Bronze Medallion. They shall be rostered for Patrol Duty as required by the Competition Committee. Apply at the AGM for conversion. Includes access to gym.*
An associate member may take part in all club social activities and has access to the change rooms & showers. Does not patrol and no access to gym.
A general membership is for Nipper parents/guardians only. They may take part in all club social activities and has access to the change rooms & showers. Does not patrol and no access to gym.
Children aged between 5 and 13 must join as part of a family membership with at least one adult/guardian who joins as a General member. NWSLSC accepts Active Kids Vouchers. As a volunteer organisation, all adult members of the club are encouraged to get involved. In particular, we encourage parents/guardians to gain their Bronze Medallion award so that they can participate as active members and help run the Nippers training. Application for life membership must be made at the AGM. Nominations need to be submitted to the committee 1 month prior to the AGM and circulated to the members for discussion and consideration so a vote can be made at the AGM.
Members who have completed 4 years satisfactory service as an Active Reserve member or members who have completed 12 years satisfactory service since obtaining their Bronze Medallion. Eligible members must apply to the Club for Long Service membership. Long Service members are exempt from all patrol obligations. Long Service Members who have reached the age of 60 on 1st October.

Persons aged 14 years to 18 are covered by Family Membership and join the club as a Cadet. Under this category, members are required to complete specific surf life saving awards and perform patrol duties.
To be an active lifesaving member of the club, you need to do the following:
Where a fee is payable, members MUST be financial. This is a compulsory requirement, which covers legal and insurance policies. Members who are not financial are not eligible to participate in Club, Inter-Club or State Championship Competitions.
Access to the clubhouse is limited to current members.
